Kids and Teens

At RVWC we believe that kids learn best from the the adults who are most important in their lives. This is why we have a time of worship that is for the entire family. We encourage you to talk to your kids about what worship is and why it is important. Please know that we love kids and Jesus loves kids, so come and relax and let your kids enjoy worshipping Jesus.

Kids will be in the service until they are dismissed to go downstairs for the teaching time with their teacher. They will receive teaching by our awesome volunteers and will be able to interact with the Bible at their age level. Currently, we have teaching for children grade 1-5 and our preschool classes will resume once we have enough preschoolers and teachers in place.

Our teens meets in as a small church every Friday. They have supper together followed by a Bible discussion and prayer. The small group format enables teens to go deeper and explore their faith. Teens learn who Jesus is and what it means to be his follower in the context of Christian community. See our small church page for day and time.

We also encourage teens to volunteer in ministry on Sunday mornings, and you will see many of our students running tech for the Sunday service. We have a variety of areas where they can serve and develop new skills. Contact us to discuss your interests!
